Hello, I am
I am a mother of 4, wife, daughter, sister, entrepreneur, IBCLC, designer, and most recently, an author. I am passionate about empowering mothers, helping them feel supported in their breastfeeding and parenthood journey. I believe motherhood is only another positive addition to the arsenal of tools a woman has for the life ahead.
I am humbled to be recognised for my efforts, winning various awards including Great Women of Our Times 2016, Stevie Awards 2020, Fortune Times Asia's Women's Empowerment Award 2021 and most recently the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2023. It was also a magnificent honour to represent my country Singapore in the global landmark event - EY World Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Monte Carlo, Monaco in 2024.
As the Founder and CEO of Hegen, it's been a rewarding journey to see our progress, breaking new grounds and receiving recognition for our design innovations, including the prestigious Red Dot Design Award and the Enterprise 50 Awards.
Stripping it all down, I’m just an ordinary woman who wants to give back in her own way to the world, which has given her a second chance at life. I'm proud of the growing positive impact I've made, and every achievement is both a testament and commitment to continuously empower women all around the world.
